We have made new friends inside the Burgundy Region of France at Domaine de Cromey and Elden Selections. Elle and Dennis (Elden, get it?) have lived in Burgundy 35 years and know all the local winemakers.
They have picked out exclusive wines for these tastings that you will not find in local markets. With their staff, Stephen and Greg, they will becoming “LIVE” from Burgundy on Sundays, January 24 and 31. To allow this, for this series, we be will moving to Sunday afternoon. They are excited to share their story of wine, food, their estate Domaine de Cromey and history of Burgundy.

The Oudin sisters, Nathalie and Isabelle oversee their precious 20 acres of vines in Chablis. They have featured this year in our ‘Women in wine’ series. They are great winemakers who succeed in expressing the unique terroir of Chablis into our glass.
Domaine Julien Cruchandeau Hautes Cotes de Nuits ‘Les Cabottes’
Julien is a young winemaker from the south of the Côte de Nuits. He has arrived at winemaking from a love of culinary arts. Cooking was his first passion, working with ingredients, aromas, and flavour combinations. He still reflects this philosophy today, each vintage is treated differently like one would work with ingredients.

Domaine Borgeot Bourgogne Blanc ‘Clos de la carbonade’
Pascal Borgeot and his daughter Julia are based in the family winery in Remigny, very near Santenay. Domaine Borgeot’s holdings cover much of the southern Côte de Beaune, the most prized area for white wine in the world (Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet). During the tasting we will look at the label and define the terms, it will help a lot in understanding the wine and the region.
Domaine Albert Boillot Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir
Based in Volnay, in the Côte de Beaune. This winemaker is a renowned vigneron, with tiny production, exclusively to Elden Selections. The Vines for this wine are actually situated in the commune of Pommard (a mile from Volnay). And the wine expresses hints of what this famous village can produce.
